My name is Joanne and though originally from Liverpool, I live up in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. My husband Mick's hobby is birding and the North East is a fantasic place for this,
but having always had an interest in photograhpy it's great to be able to combine the two. My paternal grandmother gave me my first camera around
the age of 8 and I can say I've progressed gradually since!
My current kit is a Canon 400D with a 100-400mm f4.5/5.6L IS USM along with my Macro Sigma 105mm and Canon 2x extender which I've only had since February 2008.
A few months of practise (and overtime) later and I've finally been badgered into setting up my own site. Mostly due to pressure from my Mick, but a final
reality check that I don't take too bad a picture.....on some days.....when the light is right.....
Anyhoo, please enjoy the photos!
I do own the copyright of all the photos and hope people respect this. I am more than happy to discuss the usage or sale of any of the photos.
